Bethesda, MD — April 14, 2009. United BioSource Corporation (UBC) announces the formation of the Center for Epidemiology and Database Analytics (CEDA). As the demand for epidemiologic and database expertise escalates spurred by an ever-increasing need for evidence-driven solutions, the creation of a dedicated center for our expert team allows UBC to provide even more comprehensive solutions for our clients.

CEDA researchers specialize in high quality design and analysis of observational databases, including medical claims, electronic medical records, registries, safety databases and other prospective data collection resources. UBC scientists will use epidemiological and analytical tools, including focused literature reviews and observational and retrospective studies, in the development of bespoke solutions for clients’ individual evidence needs.

Matthew Reynolds, PhD, an expert in epidemiology and database issues, will serve as Executive Director, supported by Beth Nordstrom, PhD, as US Director and Andrew Maguire, MSc, as European Director, both of whom also have extensive experience in this field.
