UBC epidemiologists quantify the incidence and prevalence of
diseases and co-morbidities, determine the incidence of adverse
events, and identify and quantify the impact of risk factors that
may be associated with different diseases or
treatments. Understanding the relationships between patient, drug,
clinical, and disease factors allows clients to address potential
drug-event causal relationships.
